Photos of last weeks HYROX completion in Miami.
The photo of the start includes me on the left.
Overall I felt strong on the run, Ski Erg and rowing machine but struggled with the sled push and sled pull and the wall balls. On the Farmers carry, lunge and burpees it wasn't pretty but it was smooth and controlled.
Had some traction issues on the sled push and the wall balls, well lets just say smacked ham!
With my finish I qualified for the World Championships in the 50+ category in Berlin in April.
This past weekend, as part of preparations for the upcoming ski season I took part in the Sundby Throwdown, a 10km rollerski classic time trial.
Great day, great atmosphere.
I can't get over how much fun it was. Yes, it was just a little double pole time trial. But, what I saw was groups of people coming together to share more than a race.
It really had a sense of community, people laughing, joking and having fun
The focus now is getting ready for HYROX Miami coming up on October 19th.
